Once while walking on the shoreline of North Myrtle Beach at the tender age of 15 I remember thinking how big and intimidating the waves of the ocean appeared to me. Crashing into the shoreline tumbling, rumbling, pushing, shoving, and leaving behind in its wake all types of amazing creatures and strange ornaments of ancients debris of years and years past. Really, I remember thinking of this to this day. I always like to go out to the beach and walk and explore the shoreline for treasures and wonderful artifacts that the ocean produces. Hunting, hoping for that great discovery of something forgotten and precisons at least to me. Many a time I would scoop up sea shells and an occasional shark’s tooth (at least that is what I would call it—and dad and mom always confirm the find). I’m telling you now that there are so many wonderful discoveries and hidden treasures to be found in this world. But if you are not a treasure seeker then it will be very difficult for you to become a great treasure giver! A true treasure giver is one who is always seeking and finding the greatest treasure of all Jesus Christ, because in Him we move, and grow and learn from Him what are the most important things of all; things like love and mercy.
